Where to stay when the race logistics are against you

Roads close. Shuttles have cutoffs. Start towns have no beds. We verify the constraint against the organiser's own sources, then tell you where to sleep to beat it, and where not to, even when it looks closest.

How MarathonStay works

We find the constraint first

Not "hotels near the finish". The actual thing that governs your morning — a shuttle cutoff, a security perimeter, a start town 26 miles from the city.

We verify it against the organiser

Every timing traces to an official source, with the date we checked it. Never another guide — courses and cutoffs change between editions.

We date everything, and let it expire

Past our verification window the specific times are withheld automatically rather than shown stale. A wrong cutoff can cost you a race.

We show the tradeoff, not a ranking

Start-side, finish-side and outer zones each cost you something. Which one is right depends on whether you fear race morning or the walk back.

Know when your race's booking window opens

Accommodation for most big races moves within days of acceptances going out — often seven months before race day. We'll tell you when yours is about to open, and what to book first.

One email per race window. No newsletter, no digest, no selling your address.
